Martin Necas - senior general and vascular sonographer in Hamilton, New Zealand

Martin completed training in general and vascular ultrasound in Seattle, USA in 1996 and subsequently attained a Master’s Degree in Sonography at the University of South Australia. Martin has practiced diagnostic ultrasound in USA, New Zealand and Australia in a wide variety of clinical settings ranging from tertiary teaching hospitals to private clinics. Martin is an ultrasound enthusiast, keen clinical instructor, lecturer and a prolific conference speaker.     

Kathryn Busch - chief sonographer at Macquarie University Hospital

Kathryn Busch has recently set-up a vascular laboratory in the clinic of the new Macquarie University Hospital.  She has been the recipient of national and international awards for her presentations and research including the Eugene Strandness award for Excellence in Scientific Research. Kathryn has a keen interest in vascular research and her particular interests include the recanalisation process of venous thrombus and aortic wall properties.
 

Dr  Wes Cormick - sonologists at Canberra Specialist Ultrasound

Dr Wes Cormick is highly regarded for his expertise and experience in many areas of ultrasound. He is
considered one of the country’s leading authorities on tendon pathology and he treats elite sportsmen from
around the country.
 

Dr Arnold Ng - staff cardiologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital and senior lecturer at University of Queensland

Dr Arnold completed his doctorate in non-invasive cardiac imaging of left ventricular mechanics in coronary artery disease, followed by a two year post-doctorate research fellowship in multi-modality cardiac imaging using echocardiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. His main areas of research are in multi-modality cardiac imaging in coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy and diabetes.

Warren Lewis - senior sonographer and Director of Vascular One Ultrasound

Warren is a senior sonographer and director of Vascular One Ultrasound in Newcastle, Australia. He has been specialising in vascular ultrasound for 26 years and has worked closely with vascular surgeons and phlebologists throughout his career, keeping abreast of new arterial stenting and endoluminal procedures as well as endovenous laser procedures. Warren has given countless lectures, workshops and presentations internationally on all aspects of vascular ultrasound.
